The official language of Aldrayon is Dralik. There are many other languages that are spoken on the glorious orb.
Seven of these other languages are specialized languages of the seven demigods, each which are spoken only by their chosen clan members.
The seven languages of the demigods:
Kyndylryk: is the language of Kyndyl the Fire-Gifted. It is a rune-based gifted language that is either written or communicated silently via starspeech.
Talamarkryk: is the language of Talamark the Metal-Gifted. It is a rune-based gifted language that is either written or communicated silently via starspeech.
Vysworyk: is the language of Vyswor the Wind-Gifted. It is a simple language that uses speech and tongue-clicking. It can be spoken aloud or via starspeech.
Eravelyk: is the language of Eravela the Earth-Gifted. It is a language that uses symbols and is either written, communicated silently via starspeech, or its symbols are built using organic objects, such as rocks, twigs, or flowers.
Akaryk: is the language of Akara the Water-Gifted. It is a type of sign language that is only communicated through the use of hand signals. It can even be used to relay messages underwater.
Kolavaryk: is the language of Kolava the Magnet-Gifted. It is a rune-based language that is either written or communicated silently via starspeech.
Zyngardryk: is the language of Zyngard the Lightning-Gifted. It is a spoken language that has a similar structure to Dralik. Yet it features traditional spoken practices of the warrior-clan of Zyngard that make its use different from Dralik. It can also be communicated via starspeech.
Other languages spoken in Aldrayon:
The Rultanik people speak in their own tongue, which is called Dreglaak. It is a spoken language that can also be written using the alphabet of Aldrayon.
Zaldyan invented his own tongue, Verrasp. It is a spoken language that can also be written using the alphabet of Aldrayon.
Trivia:
1. The alphabet of Aldrayon does not include the letters c, i, or q.
2. The demons of Aldrayon have their own language. The Fireborn do not know what it is called. It is said that the demons use special titles which are based upon a demon’s age and rank.
